I learnt Bowen therapy in 1994 and was instantly intrigued with the simplicity of the procedures and the quick results that I obtained In the early days of learning Bowen we attended a four day seminar, followed some four or five months later by a further two days of training and then went out and started to use the technique. In spite of such a short time of instruction the results were often spectacular.
After learning Bowen I completed studies in Therapeutic, Remedial and Sports Massage, Polarity, Touch for Health and Reiki. Since then I have completed training in Kinergetics, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Australian Bush Flower Essences.
Previous to Bowen I had completed my apprenticeship as a Plumber and Gasfitter, taught trade subjects in the Army and at Gosford TAFE, managed and operated LPG businesses on the Central Coast. I was also employed for a short period as Domestic Sales Manager of the Auckland (NZ) Gas Company
My outside interests have seen me rewarded with Life Membership to the Mornington (Vic) Citizens Brass Band, Terrigal Memorial Country Club – Golf Club and recently the Bowen Association of Australia.
Currently I enjoy kayaking around the beautiful waterways of the Central Coast. One of my weekly paddles is at night from Davistown to Woy Woy Bay area, Kilcare or Koolewong all dependant upon tide and wind
My interests and life experiences have taught me to be patient and aware of the needs of others, to observe and, especially with my teaching of Bowen - be impeccable with my word, don’t take anything personally, don’t make assumptions and always do my best.
