Bowtech. The Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia. (BTAA)
Established by Oswald and Elaine Rentsch who are the owners of the copyright material of Bowtech, the Original Bowen Technique.
BTAA provide the training material for the Bowen component of all courses, and train and accredit the Bowtech instructors who teach all over the world.
Full members of the BTAA receive the quarterly Bowen Hands magazine and their listing on the Bowtech website.
Border College of Natural Therapies. (BCNT)
Is the Registered Training Organisation, working in association with the BTAA, responsible for the delivery of the Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy and the Diploma of Bowen Therapy nationally recognised courses.
BCNT coordinates the Australian Accredited Bowtech teachers who arrange Certificate IV and Diploma specialisation unit classes for new Bowen Therapy students, and, deliver distance education courses for the common units required for completion of the qualifications.
The Bowen Association of Australia (BAA)
Is a non profit Association made up of Australian Bowtech trained Bowen practitioners. There is a committee elected each year at the annual general meeting and they run the Association on a voluntary basis for that year.
Any member can be on the committee. Membership of the Association affords professional recognition and the BAA represents members, in its capacity as a professional body, in matters such as Health Fund Service Provider recognition and registration, insurance, disciplinary action and support of members: issues quarterly newsletters, a bi-annual directory of members and is active in sponsoring research.
